We could flash the OnePlus 10 Pro's stock firmware while in download mode. However, if the device is damaged or unable to boot into download mode, the EDL 9008 port needs to be flashed. We can use test points to manually boot it into EDL 9008 mode in that kind of situation. Similar to that, an EDL boot is occasionally necessary when using the Qualcomm flash tool to unlock the OnePlus 10 Pro.
